New Spider-Man Revealed for Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse 2

Japanese Spider-Man is not only one of the oldest alternative versions of Spider-Man, But he's also one of the most obscure versions of the character ever seen. 



He first appeared in the 1978 Spider-Man show in Japan, which made him the second live-action Spider-Man to appear on the small screen. He'll now be making his way back into media with an appearance in  Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse 2

This was confirmed earlier this week by producer Phil Lord on Twitter, When a fan sent him a tweet regarding Japanese Spider-Man appearing in the film specifically, This fan wanted to design the character if he appeared in the film, To which Lord replied "He's designed", Thus confirming Japanese Spider-Man for the upcoming film.

This Spider-Man is one of the most obscure versions of the character to date. According to this IGN , He gets his powers from a UFO crash with a bracelet that can transform the UFO into a giant robot that helps Spider-Man to beat the show's villain named Professor Monster, And he also has a gun.
