Season 2 of The Irregular at Magic High School TV Anime was going to release in July, but it got delayed from July to October because of the Pandemic. Now Kadokawa's monthly issue Comic Alive magazine revealed anime season 2 release date is October 3rd. The second part is named The Irregular at Magic High School : Visitor Arc, which covers 3 volumes from 9 to 10 of Light Novel.

The Irregular at Magic High School (Japanese: 魔法科高校の劣等生) is a web novel series by Tsutomu Satō. It was published in July 2011 as light novel.

In 2013 some story arcs also received manga adaptation by different authors and Publishers. That same year anime adaptation is also announced by studio Madhouse. Which premiered from April to September of 2014. After So many years received an second season by studio 8bit and directed by Risako Yoshida.
Story:
Shiba Miyuki's classmate Kitayama Shizuku is on her way to study abroad. For magicians, this is normally impossible, since allowing the genes of someone who can use magic outside their home country's borders is tantamount to giving up national secrets. But it's allowed to happen in one case-exchange programs. And that's how Angelina Kudou Shields has arrived in Japan from the USNA to study at First High.
Around the time Lina arrived in Japan magicians began getting attacked by a mysterious being who leaves his victims drained of blood. Will Tatsuya be able to discover the identity of the "Vampire"?
