Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki (The Low Tier Character "Tomozaki-kun") TV anime has revealed its first teaser Preview. The TV anime broadcasting is scheduled to begin January 2021. The anime will be produced by studio Project No.9.

Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki (Japanese: 弱キャラ友崎くん) is a Japanese light novel series written by Yūki Yaku and illustrated by Fly. Shogakukan have published seven volumes since May 2016 under their Gagaga Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation with art by Eight Chida has been serialized via Square Enix's shōnen manga magazine Monthly Gangan Joker since December 2017. It has been collected in three tankōbon volumes. The light novel is licensed in North America by Yen Press and the English translation is by Winifred Bird.
