The Magnificent Kotobuki (Japanese: 荒野のコトブキ飛行隊) is an anime television series produced by GEMBA which aired from January 13 to March 31, 2019. A smartphone game titled Kōya no Kotobuki Hikōtai - Ōzora no Take Off Girls! was released in February 2019. A compilation film titled The Magnificent Kotobuki Complete Edition premiered on September 11, 2020.
Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai Kanzenban the compilation anime film that premiered in September is set to releases on Blu-ray in Japan on February 25th, 2021. According to articles, the film contains about 15 minutes of new footage.
From December 11th, Kouya no Kotobuki Hikoutai Kanzenban will be available for digital rental on select Japanese platforms ahead of the Blu-ray release.

Story :
The story takes place in a barren frontier where people trade goods with each other in order to help each other survive. The Kotobuki Squadron are bodyguards for hire, led by a strict but beautiful squadron leader, an unreliable commanding officer, and a true artisan of a crew chief. Alongside pilots who do not lack for personality, they take to the air in dogfights, letting the engine noise of their Hayabusa fighters ring out in the skies.
