The World's Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat TV anime adaptation announced for July 2021. Animation production will be handled by studio SILVER LINK and Studio Palette.

The anime will star Kenji Akabane as Lugh, Reina Ueda as Dia, Yūki Takada as Tarte, and Shino Shimoji as Maha (character name spelling not confirmed).

Masafumi Tamura is directing the anime at SILVER LINK and Studio Palette, and Katsuhiko Takayama  is both writing and overseeing the series scripts. Eri Nagata is designing the characters.

When the greatest assassin of the era is killed, he awakens before a goddess who offers to reincarnate him into another world. However, she has one condition: he must assassinate the hero of that world.

Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru has been serialized online through the Shousetsuka ni Narou website since July 29, 2018. The first official volume was published on February 1, 2019 by Kadokawa under the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko label.
